Meditation on St. John's Gospel SPIRITUAL SCIENCE 106 The Gospel of St. John is the most powerful and esoteric of the Gospels. What do these opening words mean, In the beginning was the Logos ? How did John know this? How can anyone know this? For those on a real spiritual journey, there is a way to become aware of the Logos, the Word, the Christ in yourself. Through a study of esoteric science, one more and more can be spiritually awakened. The more this type of meditation is undertaken, the greater the spiritual self will manifest itself in you. This growth of your inner self will be truly amazing. You will be able to make much more sense out of this world and your great role in it. It will be necessary to use attention and concentration so that your thinking will become absent any personal element. SpiritualScienceBibleStudies.org is the place to rise above the ordinary, normal way of thinking and learn how to become truly healthy in your thinking. "To become aware of the Logos is to become aware of the Logos in oneself. That communication is possible and happens, that some thing is communicated, is the active being of the Logos among human beings. The content of the communication matters little at first. The fact that it happens at all is the presence of the Logos. Without the Logos, there would not be even the attempt to communicate, nor any claim to communication." Deepen yourself by taking this course so that you can experience for yourself the "truth that sets you free." This quotation above and the course itself is based upon the book, Becoming Aware of the Logos, The Way of St. John the Evangelist, by Georg Kuhlewind. For each course an experienced mentor is provided through email. Following each lecture/guide are questions for you to begin a discourse with your mentor. |
