About Spiritual Science Bible Studies

Our Mission: To enliven the Old and New Testaments by clear, unbiased thinking that reaches beyond intellectual confinement. Through this type of spiritual thinking we are able to gain a renewed and deeper understanding of Christ and the mysteries of Scripture. Our organization is not affiliated with any religious group and is free from any dogma or sectarianism. There is also encouragement to think for oneself and to ask questions about anything that does not seem clear.

The director and editor of this program, Andrew Flaxman, graduated cum laude in religion from Princeton in 1957 and earned a master's degree in business at Rutgers. After a successful career as an investment banker and stockbroker, he became convinced that our economic life, based upon increasing selfishness, egotism and lack of self-knowledge, was bringing our civilization to disaster. For the past thirty years he has been a student of spiritual science, been a publisher of self-educational products, a seminar organizer and a teacher of emotionally disturbed adolescents. Kristina Kaine, Associate Director, has been a student of the sacred mysteries for 25 years, especially as they are revealed in all Holy Scripture. For twenty years she belonged to an Australian Esoteric Christian Movement where she studied with the Reverend Mario Schoenmaker, who was trained in Europe in the Rosicrucian tradition. He was her spiritual mentor for fourteen years prior to his death in 1997. In 1996 she took the vows of a Priest after the Order of Melchizedek and became part of a new Free Priesthood. She also runs her own business in the private venture capital market. Prior to this she was a specialist Medical and Surgical Representative. She is the author of the book I Connecting: The Soul's Quest.
